 When we decided to open Cabana Pool & Spa, my wife and I agreed that what was missing in Huntington Beach was a clean friendly pool store focused on helping customers understand and maintain their pool or spa.
For the most part, pool supply stores in the area all look about the same. If you think about it, most stores have all their chlorine pilled high right in front of the door. The first thing you see, and smell when you walk in is chlorine. That stagegy makes no sense to us. It is chlorine for crying out loud. It is not like someone is going to see it and say,
"Oh wow, what is that...Chlorine? Let’s give it a try!"
Another thing we noticed is that most pool stores will pack the walls with lots of parts, chemicals and toys so they look like they have a large inventory, most of which looks like it has been there since the store first opened. They do this so you assume they have your part.
We carry a large number products and parts but it is not practical to stock everything. We receive daily deliveries from our distributors who do stock millions of parts and products. So if we don't have it, it is usually only a day away.
